For The Foundation to make a significant impact on non-profit organizations we support, funds raised at Bogeys & Birds 2018 benefited the following organizations:
Colorado Hospitality Scholarship Program
The Colorado Hospitality Scholarship Program is comprised of three of the state’s industry associations that have come together to offer scholarships to help support undergraduate students pursuing degrees in the hospitality and tourism industry at accredited, four-year universities and colleges.
KIPP Kirkpatrick’s mission is to positively impact ALL students’ lives by building a school grounded in love for our students, families, and our community. KIPP Kirkpatrick is educating students in kindergarten, first, second and third grade. KIPP Kirkpatrick Elementary School is a free, open-enrollment public charter school educating students in the heart of East Nashville.
The KIPP Kirkpatrick family is guided by the school values: Bravery, Curiosity, Joy, Love, and Patience. They encourage students to take risks to learn the character, academic, and social skills needed to choose their futures in high school, college, and the world beyond.
Amp the Cause is a Denver-based nonprofit organization that improves the lives of families through entertainment, annual events and community service projects.
Amp raises critical health and education funds, generates awareness of local charities, uses monetary and in-kind donations to help children with life-threatening illnesses, and provides opportunities for kids to participate in educational programs in a safe and healthy environment.
Living Classrooms Foundation strengthens communities and inspires young people to achieve their potential through hands-on education and job training, using urban, natural, and maritime resources as “living classrooms.”
Living Classrooms Foundation has grown into an educational and economic force that combines one of the city’s most cherished assets – it’s beautiful and historic harbor – with some of its most overlooked – the thousands of bright, ambitious children and young adults who are struggling to succeed against terrible odds. What began with one program in one city has grown into dozens of programs across a region that now encompasses Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
