2017 Hurricane Relief

The 2017 Atlantic hurricane season will long be remembered as one of the busiest and most destructive hurricane seasons on record. Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria changed parts of Texas, Florida and the Caribbean forever.

Hurricane Harvey was one of the costliest tropical cyclones on record, inflicting damage totals in the billions. Catastrophic rainfall-triggered flooding in the Houston metropolitan area. Hurricane Irma was an extremely powerful and catastrophic Cape Verde hurricane. Irma’s path of damaged extended from Florida through the Carolinas. Towne Park employees in the Houston and Florida markets were significantly impacted by these storms.

Through the efforts of The Foundation, the Towne Park Employee Relief Fund was able to provide immediate relief to many Towne Park associates. Close to $110,000 in contributions were deployed to support financial hardships related to roof damage, vehicles damage, essential repairs, and basic needs such as food and clothing.

Towne Park employees support each other by donating to The Foundation. This effort helps fund the Employee Relief Fund enabling the Foundation to support employees during unanticipated hardships and in time of need.
